Most families have never arranged a burial before. We have, for Queens families since 1909. We’ll work with the cemetery for you and take care of every detail. Call any hour, day or night: (718) 424-2000.
What we take care of
- Bringing your loved one into our care
- Permits, the burial permit and death certificates
- Scheduling the burial with your cemetery
- The funeral service or graveside service before the burial
- Transportation, including to cemeteries outside Queens
- Flowers and any other details on the day
The funeral home and the cemetery work together
The funeral home and the cemetery are separate. The cemetery provides the burial plot and opens and closes the grave. We coordinate with them for you, so your family doesn’t have to make those calls while grieving.
Burial options
- Traditional funeral and burial: a viewing, a service at your church or our funeral home, then burial.
- Graveside service: a ceremony at the cemetery, usually after a visitation at our funeral home.
- Burial in the ground or above ground, in a mausoleum.
- Burial of cremated remains, so there’s a place to visit.
Many cemeteries require a grave liner or vault. We’ll explain what your cemetery asks for before you decide anything.
