Angela Delligatti

Passed on June 17, 2026

Angela Delligatti, 78, of Franklin Square, New York, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. Born on June 27, 1947, in Corona, New York, Angela lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering care for her family and friends.

Angela was the beloved wife of the late Gerardo “Jerry” Delligatti and the cherished daughter of Thomas and Carmela Marino. She was also predeceased by her brothers Alexander and Thomas Marino. She is survived by her loving children Lori Delligatti (Michael), Tami Mele (John), and John Delligatti (Margaret); her adored grandchildren Koral Heiseler (Raphael), Heather Escovedo (Cameron), Erich Heiseler, Jessica Mele, Gianna Mele, Christopher Mele, Alexandria Delligatti, and Gerardo Delligatti; her precious great-grandchildren Nora and Ava Abreu; and her dear sister Carol McCahill (John). Angela’s family was the center of her world. She valued them above all else.

A devoted practicing Catholic throughout her life, Angela found peace and solace in prayer. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society for many years. Her spirituality was a guiding light that shaped her compassionate nature and deep commitment to those she loved.

Angela enjoyed bowling and playing volleyball with friends as much as she cherished quiet moments spent reading or watching her favorite movies and TV shows. Whether hosting card nights with friends or taking trips to the casino with Jerry by her side, Angela embraced every opportunity to create memories with those around her.

Her kitchen was always a place of warmth and comfort. Angela had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special. She would even prepare different meals to ensure everyone had something they loved to eat. Baking together during the holidays was especially memorable. Spending time together to help decorate her themed cookies like pumpkins and candy canes brought great pleasure to all.

Angela had unwavering support for those she cared about. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate her family’s achievements. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were especially spoiled by her love and attention. She could always bring a smile to their faces with heartfelt conversations and happy songs like “You Are My Sunshine” and “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)”. She had a big heart full of genuine concern for everyone’s health and happiness.

Angela’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and selflessness. Her memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. May we find peace in knowing she has joined her beloved husband in eternal rest.

May Angela’s enduring love bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
