Beatriz Muñoz

Teresa Beatriz Muñoz went home to Jesus on May 27, 2024 at age 74.

Beatriz was born to Maria Teresa and Nestor Arturo Vasquez on May 31, 1949 in Cuenca, Ecuador. As
the oldest daughter with 10 siblings, she learned how to take on a motherly role at a very early age.

She immigrated to New York in 1970, and eventually met her husband, Fausto. They married, 5 months
after meeting, on September 20, 1975 and went on to have 2 children, Dennise and Franklyn.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother to her children and an adoring grandmother to her
grandchildren, Beatriz also loved being a second mother to many. She enjoyed working in her garden and
being the family seamstress. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she
shared with those who surrounded her.

Beatriz joins her parents, Teresa and Arturo, and her brother, Oswaldo, in Heaven. She is survived by her
husband, Fausto, her siblings, Raul, Gerardo, Alfonso, Eduardo, Sara, Eulalia, Rebecca, Martha, Editha,
her children, Dennise (Jim), Franklyn, and grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Aria, and Andrew.
